New Accreditation Activities in Q3

ACGME International continues to grow its activities around the world. In July 2022, two new Sponsoring Institutions were conferred the status of Initial Accreditation:
- Dubai Health Authority – Dubai, UAE
- International Medical Center – Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Six new programs also were conferred with Initial Accreditation:
- Ophthalmology – Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Abu Dhabi, UAE
- Emergency Medicine – Zayed Military Hospital, Abu Dhabi, UAE
- Preventive Medicine – Ambulatory Health Services, Al Ain, UAE
- Infectious Diseases – Tawam Hospital, Al Ain, UAE
- Urology – Tawam Hospital, Al Ain, UAE
- Internal Medicine – Aga Khan University, Nairobi, Kenya
With these newly accredited institutions and programs, ACGME-I now accredits a total of 22 Sponsoring Institutions and 185 residency and fellowship programs in 11 countries.
