Review Committees Approve Accreditation of Programs, including Firsts in Two Sponsoring Institutions
During the January 2024 meeting of the Review Committees-International, a total of 12 graduate medical education (GME) programs received positive accreditation decisions – including the first programs at two accredited Sponsoring Institutions to achieve Initial Accreditation status.
ACGME-I Accredits First Sponsoring Institution in Vietnam
ACGME International (ACGME-I) is proud to announce that VinUni College of Health Sciences in Hanoi, Vietnam has become the first Sponsoring Institution in Vietnam to achieve ACGME-I accreditation. The Initial Accreditation status for the institution became effective 1 July 2023.

#ACGME2025: Learning, Networking, and Celebrating Global GME
Attendees from 19 countries, representing most ACGME-I-accredited Sponsoring Institutions, joined thousands of their graduate medical education (GME) colleagues for three days of learning, sharing, networking, and collaborating at the 2025 ACGME Annual Educational Conference, held on 20-22 February 2025, in Nashville, Tennessee, US. With a record attendance exceeding 5,000, attendees made the most of many educational sessions and networking opportunities, both formal and informal.
