ACGME-I Welcomes New Members to the Board of Directors and Thanks Departing Members

In late September ACGME-I welcomed three new members to its Board of Directors:

Sophia Archuleta, MD is an infectious diseases physician, educator, and leader in academic medicine, currently serving as head of the Division of Infectious Diseases at the National University Hospital and as associate professor of Medicine at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore. Dr. Archuleta previously served as the Chair of the Medicine-Based Review Committee-International.

Joseph C. Kolars, MD, MACP is a physician, educator, and global health leader currently serving as director of strategic development for Global Collaboration at the University of Michigan Medical School.

Subha Ramani, MBBS, MPH, MMEd, PhD is a globally recognized physician educator and scholar in health professions education, currently serving as assistant director of Education Science at the Brigham Education Institute and as director of evaluation for the internal medicine residency program at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.

The terms of the three new directors will last three years.

ACGME-I thanks the two departing members of the Board of Directors who have helped steer the growth of ACGME-I during their tenure:

  • Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, president of the University of Nebraska system
  • Steven I. Goldstein, president of system integration strategy, UR [University of Rochester] Medicine

The changes to the membership of the ACGME-I Board of Directors are effective 29 September 2025.
