ACGME International Engages with Medical Regulators from Across the Globe at #IAMRA2025
ACGME-I participated in the 16th International Conference on Medical Regulation in 2025 (#IAMRA2025), held in Dublin, Ireland on 3-6 September, joining medical regulators from around the world to discuss people-focused regulations for a safer global community.
During the four-day conference, ACGME-I President and Chief Executive Officer James A. Arrighi, MD, and Executive Director Lorraine C. Lewis, EdD spoke to attendees about novel approaches to continuous quality improvement and innovation in ACGME-I-accredited graduate medical education (GME) programs.
ACGME-I Vice President Halah Ibrahim, MD, MEHP joined Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Chief Financial and Administrative Officer and ACGME Global Services Executive Vice President John Ogunkeye, MS, to host a workshop on harnessing the mutual benefits of global physician mobility.
“The IAMRA meeting provided ACGME-I and Global Services with a unique opportunity to meet with leaders in global medical regulation,” said Dr. Lewis. “It was a highly informative, thought-provoking, and enjoyable event!”
ACGME-I and ACGME Global Services also partnered as exhibitors at the conference, engaging with attendees to discuss accreditation and potential collaborations.
