Registration is open for an upcoming webinar hosted by ACGME-I on the important topic of well-being.
The goals of “Activate Well-Being: Turning Research and Networking into Results” are to:
- summarize ACGME-I’s requirements related to well-being of learners, faculty members and staff members;
- determine how recent research into well-being in graduate medical education (GME) programs and initiatives undertaken by ACGME-I-accredited programs and institutions can be useful in promoting well-being in your setting; and,
- indicate how sharing information and networking with others in GME would assist participants’ educational programs.

Stuart Slavin, MD, MEd, vice president, Well-Being at the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), will discuss well-being for GME staff and faculty members. Shireen Suliman, MBBS, MD, MEHP, PhD, associate director of medical education at Hamad Medical Corporation, and Falak Sayed, MBBS, MSc, JBEM, LFOM, founder and chair of the GME Wellness Committee at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, will share how they implement well-being initiatives at their institutions. ACGME-I Executive Director Lorraine Lewis, EdD, will moderate.
