These Advanced Specialty Requirements will be reviewed by the ACGME-I Board at its 19 May meeting for final approval.

  • James Anderson, a radiologist from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon, US
  • Ann Burke, a pediatrician from Dayton Children’s Hospital in Dayton, Ohio, US

The Review Committees also welcomed two public members. A Review Committee public member shares the perspective of the public, and serves to foster accountability to the needs of the public, enrich the work of the committee through outside expertise, and create transparency in the Review Committee’s work. The two new public members are:

  • Nadia Khouri, the senior quality officer at the American University of Beirut Medical Center, Lebanon
  • Julie Georges Sakkab, the director of program development at Tahaddi Lebanon

The Review Committees also acknowledged the many contributions of outgoing members Drs. Stephen Ludwig, Tarek Shahrour, and Kay Vydareny. Each of these individuals, whose terms will end 1 July 2023, made a lasting mark on ACGME-I accreditation with their wisdom and dedication to global GME.
